Training information
Are there any requirements before taking the course?
-For the beginners course there are no prior requirements needed. Different states have different regulations that need to be met to legally preform permanent makeup, you can check the regulations here.
There is also a blood borne pathogens test online that you can take (most states don't require this) but it is suggested. Click here to take the test.
Microblading is in "the body art" category so please check your state laws to see what is required.
Why Enhance Artistry training?
- Tiffany from Enhance Artistry has taken 10 permanent makeup courses to learn and gather the best techniques that are incorporated into one course. We believe in being very transparent with our students and giving you the best knowledge to get started in this exciting career. Every topic taught is covered in depth so that each student obtains a deep understanding. We only allow 6-8 students per course which ensures a lot of one on one time for each student.
Do you need prior training?
For the beginners course, no. We will require prior training for the advanced courses that will be announced at a later date.
How do I register and become a student for the training?
We require a non refundable deposit to hold your spot. The deposit will be deducted from the full price of the course when paid in full. Please purchase a deposit promptly to ensure a spot for the course. You can purchase course deposits here.
What if I'm already certified and want to continue education?
-The Enhance Artistry course is a great way to continue education! We will be teaching topics very in depth. You will pick up knowledge and techniques you did not get from prior courses. It's always great to build on prior knowledge. Please come with lots of questions and problems that you have run into such as: skin problems, retention problems, pigments etc. We would love to expand on your knowledge and help you trouble shoot. Students that have continued education with this course have felt like it was an advanced course with how much they learned and didn't previously know.
Is a 3 day course enough?
Yes, 3 days is the perfect amount of time to get through everything we need to know and stay on topic. The first two days we will go over hygiene, shaping, and mapping while practicing technique. Also, on the second day Tiffany will perform microblading on a client for instruction. On the third day you will perform microblading on your model. Microblading is a skill based profession so continuing to practice hair patterns and technique after the course is a must, and you'll get everything you need in the three days of the course.
What's in the starter kit?
-The kit includes enough product to do 50 clients. However, the kit does not include hygiene supplies, bed, or extra things the health department requires. The kit comes with actual microblading product. Enhance Artistry will offer a list of where to get the rest of the supplies online to fully get started during the course.
Kit includes:
-Pigments
-Spoolys
-Caliper
-Mapping utensils
-Microblade needles
-Microblade handles
-Numbing agent

Each student must provide a model on the last day of the course. The time you will need a model will be announced before the course. Some will need a model in the morning some will be afternoon.
Providing your own model is suggested so you can follow up with a touch up, look at your own healed results, and take photos. If you are unable to provide a model please let me know and I will do my best to find a model for you. Models I provide for you are not guaranteed to show up. Schedule reliable models so they don't change their mind last minute.
