What is microblading?
Microblading, also known as eyebrow emroidery, eyebrow feathering, is a form of permanent makeup which is implemented using a handheld tool comprised of between 6-14 micro needles in the shape of a blade hense the name microblade. It is not done by a machine, it is hand done in crisp hair like strokes that reach the deep layers of the epidermis. Microblading is a natural look that adds hair strokes and volume to your brows.
What is combo brow?
combination of hair strokes and powder, combo brows are meant to mimic density ( not necessarily a "makeup" look-- a powder ombre' will look like makeup). Dense vs sparse explains how much skin you can see through the natural hair. Dense brows have hair throughout the brow and skin is not very visible. Sparse brows has hair throughout but you can see skin throughout. If the client is missing brow hair or does not have very much natural density, then a combo is suggested to add density where is needed and blend the microblading to the natural hair. if the client has hair, then microblading alone may be enough because adding hair strokes naturally adds density.
What is Powder Ombre’?
Powder Ombre’ is done with a permanent makeup pen/machine. This look goes from light and soft at the bulb of the brow and gradually darkens towards the tail. Using the pen makes the powder look super even using shading techniques. We achieve an ombre’ affect using several pigment colors to build the brow color to give that soft powdery look. Clients that have full amount of hair that simply want definition, or that prefer a natural makeup look will like this powder affect. Powder ombre’ lasts 2-3 years with suggested annual color boost.
How long does it last?
Mircroblading will last 1-3 years, combo brows will last 2-3 years, All permanent makeup is suggested to have a occasional touch ups (between 18 months to 2 years) to color boost the brows to maintain results.
How often will I need a touch up?
Since my clients most likely wont have previous pigment on their skin, a touch up or color boost is suggested and included with the first appointment 6 to 8 weeks later. After your initial appointment, it is suggested to have them touched up or boost the color around 18 months to 2 years or when the client feels ready to refresh and maintain the brow.the brows do not have to be touched up every single year, often times its not needed at a year after they were originally done. At the soonest they may need to be touched up around 18 months. As long as there is pigment retention in the brows it will count as a color boost price and not a start over appt.
Can I wear regular makeup to the appt?
Some clients like to wear brow makeup how they normally do on a daily bases to show the color, shape, and what they are currently used to. The brow area will be cleaned either way during the appt before starting, wearing brow makeup is not required but also fine if the client chooses too.
How long is one brow session?
Having permanent makeup done takes about two hours. Touch ups take around half the time depending on retention and how much we added. Please know, if the client is more than 15 minutes late to the appointment, I will no show the appt. I do respect my clients time and do my best to not go over the 2 hours scheduled. more than 15 minutes late the client will need to reschedule a new appt and pay a cancellation fee.
Can I bring my child / children?
Children are not allowed for health code purposes. Client will need to hold still with eyes closed and will not be able to pay attention to the child, the technician is focused on the brows and can not attend to Childs needs. Please arrange babysitting when making an appt.
Can I have microblading or powder brows done if I have permanent makeup done already?

If it is dark, saturated and crisp permanent makeup it may need to be faded or removed to have anything over the top show up. No, please do not shave, we want to see the shape and perfect them. I use what brow hair my client has as a guide for what they should have. Clients can have them waxed to a desired shape a day or two before (not day of) if they would like, I would prefer to have clients come in with not touching them for awhile.
